Communications Intern

The Communications Intern plays a key role in producing visual and written materials that help strengthen the companys brand and messaging. This includes designing various internal and external communication pieces and assisting in refreshing the organizations visual identity. The intern also helps with updates to the company website and contributes to different marketing and engagement initiatives, such as social media activities and employee-focused programs. Overall, the role provides creative and technical support to ensure consistent and impactful communication across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creation and development of templates for communication assets and corporate branding such as cascade posters, PowerPoint files, meeting backgrounds, etc.
• Support the development of brand refresh and CPL website
• Assist in communications/marketing internal and external projects such as social media campaigns
• Manage company engagements and campaign and other comms support for communities and groups.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, & SKILLS:

• Preferably pursuing a degree in Multimedia Arts, Communications, or Marketing
• Has graphic and video editing skills 
• Proficient in Canva, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and other editing software
• Has strong and creative communication and writing skills
• Photography and video editing skills preferred
• Amenable to work onsite 4x weekly
