DevOps Support Developer Intern - Hybrid

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

As a DevOps Support Developer Intern, you will work closely with the DevOps and engineering teams to support and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and monitoring systems.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes.
• Support system and application monitoring efforts using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve environment-related issues.
• Document DevOps processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support automation of routine operational tasks using scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Learn and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Conduct basic performance tuning and capacity planning for deployed applications.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
