IT Support Intern

This role will provide hands-on experience in supporting daily IT activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with system monitoring. The trainee will learn practical IT skills while helping ensure smooth operations across Keywords.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support the IT team in setting up computers, accounts, and applications for users.
• Help maintain IT equipment inventory and documentation.
• Participate in monitoring system performance and reporting issues.
• Provide basic technical support to employees as needed.
• Learn and apply IT best practices in daily tasks.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance such as updates, patches, and backups.
• Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or process improvements.
• Document solutions for common technical problems for knowledge sharing.
• Observe and shadow IT staff to gain exposure to real-world IT operations.
• Participate in meetings or training sessions as required.

• Currently a student taking up Information Technology, Computer Science, or related courses.

• Must be enrolled in practicum/internship units.
• Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, and networking.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to commit to the required internship hours.
