About the Rookie Program

The Product Marketing Rookie will support the Product Marketing team in developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for GoTyme's lending products, including MoreTyme (Buy Now, Pay Later), Personal Loans, and Credit Cards. This Rookie Program offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product marketing, market research, customer insights, product positioning, and cross-functional collaboration while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced digital banking environment.

Throughout the Rookie Program, you'll collaborate with Product Marketing, Strategy, Marketing, and Operations teams to support product launches, customer lifecycle initiatives, competitive analysis, and marketing enablement activities that help bring innovative financial products to market.

What You'll Do

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Support

• Assist in conducting market and competitive research for GoTyme's lending products, including MoreTyme, Personal Loans, and Credit Cards.
• Support customer segmentation, customer journey mapping, and consumer insights analysis to help shape marketing strategies.
• Assist in developing product messaging, value propositions, and positioning frameworks.
• Help prepare go-to-market materials, campaign briefs, research summaries, presentations, and internal marketing assets.
• Review marketing collateral to ensure consistency with product positioning and brand messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Marketing Leads, Strategy, Marketing, and Operations teams to support lending-related initiatives.
• Participate in go-to-market planning sessions, campaign discussions, and project meetings to gain exposure to product marketing execution.
• Assist in documenting marketing processes, playbooks, and best practices to improve team knowledge sharing.
• Support ad hoc product marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.

Learning & Professional Development

• Gain practical exposure to product marketing within the fintech and digital banking industry.
• Learn how customer insights, market research, and business strategy influence product positioning and go-to-market execution.
• Receive regular coaching, mentorship, and feedback throughout the Rookie Program.
• Document key learnings, project contributions, and best practices through knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support additional initiatives that contribute to your professional development and the team's priorities.

Must Haves

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or a related field.
• Open to completing GoTyme's 5-month Rookie Program, either as a school-required internship or a voluntary internship.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves

• Academic or internship experience in product marketing, brand marketing, market research, or go-to-market planning.
• Familiarity with customer segmentation, product positioning, or marketing frameworks.
• Experience creating presentations, research reports, or campaign briefs.
• Leadership experience through student organizations, university projects, or extracurricular activities.
• Passion for fintech, digital banking, and creating customer-centric products.
