Job Description - Operations Excellence Intern [Philippines]

Process Documentation and Review:

Review, revise, and create SOPs and operational plans to reflect current processes.
Document new processes and maintain in-depth process documentation as part of service improvement initiatives.

Operational Audits:

Conduct operational audits focused on identifying inefficiencies, waste, and downtime in warehouse operations.
Support Compliance Teams (CS and CT) in operational compliance for third-party or client-initiated audits, such as ISO audits.

Campaign Support and Planning:

Assist Operations in campaign planning by ensuring critical documentation (e.g., CT Link) is updated and accurate.

Knowledgebase Maintenance:

Maintain a centralized record or knowledge base for troubleshooting warehouse issues and providing solutions to recurring problems.

Regional Exposure:

While based in the Philippines, the role offers opportunities to participate in and gain experience across Locad’s country operations.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in process mapping (BPMN methodology preferred).
Ability to create and review detailed operating plans.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical thinking with a focus on identifying operational inefficiencies and developing effective solutions.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.

Willingness to Travel:

Willingness and ability to visit Locad warehouses to gain hands-on understanding of operations.
