Job Description - People & Culture Intern

The Opportunity 


We currently have an opportunity for a People & Culture Intern to join our People & Culture team on an internship basis. 


 


Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, core focus of the role is to support day-to-day People & Culture operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, P&C administration, and data/reporting. This role offers hands-on exposure to HR processes, systems, and projects while contributing to a high-quality employee experience. 


 


Key accountabilities and performance indicators include: 


 



  • Manage job postings, candidate tracking, and interview scheduling in the HRIS/ATS (e.g., BambooHR). 



  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including kits, orientations, and newcomer support. 



  • Prepare HR letters and maintain trackers, templates, and documentation (benefits, timekeeping, admin). 



  • Support planning and execution of engagement activities, including logistics, materials, and feedback. 



  • Research HR best practices and recommend process improvements. 


 


About You 


To be successful in this role, you will possess the following 


 



  • Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field. 



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in spreadsheets and document handling; clear and professional communication. 



  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities with initiative.
