Proposal Intern

The Proposal Intern provides support in developing, organizing, and delivering proposal and bid documents for potential clients. Working closely with the proposal, sales, and technical teams, the intern assists in preparing well-structured, compliant, and compelling submissions. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting proposal sections, gathering required inputs from various departments, conducting background research, and ensuring all documents meet client requirements and deadlines. This role offers hands on experience in proposal development, business writing, and the end to end tender process, making it ideal for students interested in business development, communications, or technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development Support

• Assist in preparing, formatting, and editing proposals, quotations, and tender documents based on client requirements.


• Support the creation of proposal sections such as company profiles, methodologies, and technical descriptions.


• Help ensure proposals are compliant, well-structured, and delivered within deadlines.
  

Research & Documentation

• Conduct background research on clients, competitors, pricing benchmarks, and technical data to support proposal content.


• Help organize and maintain proposal templates, document libraries, and past submissions for future use.
  

Administrative & Coordination Tasks

• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary inputs, such as cost estimates, project timelines, and technical specifications.


• Assist in reviewing submission requirements and tracking deliverables to meet tender deadlines.

Quality & Compliance

• Support the proofreading and quality check of proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client instructions.


• Help implement improvements in proposal processes, templates, and documentation practices.
  

Learning & Development

• Gain exposure to end-to-end proposal development and bidding processes.


• Learn best practices in persuasive writing, document design, and proposal strategy.


• Willingness to learn proposal standards, compliance requirements, and client submission processes.
