Quality Assurance Engineer Interns (Hybrid)

DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:

Lead / Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
 

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
 

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. As a QA Intern, you will collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to assist in test execution and automation efforts, gaining practical experience in software quality practices, testing tools, and the overall software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing test cases and test scenarios based on provided specifications.
• Run automated test cases for regression and smoke testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright, written in Java and/or C#.
• Work closely with senior SDETs and developers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Help analyze test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.
• Log, track, and document bugs clearly and following standard procedures.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the company.
   

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools/ frameworks like Selenium or Playwright is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Interest or background in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
