Student Intern

PROGRAM SUMMARY: 

The primary objective of City of Dreams Manila’s internship program is to assist the student intern in developing employer-valued skills such as teamwork, communications, work discipline and attention to detail, as well as to give them an opportunity and venue to apply and validate what they have learned from school.  As such, a student intern shall be exposed to: 

1.    The real work environment and performance expectations in order to enhance and/or expand both knowledge and skills;

2.    Professional role models or mentors who will provide support throughout the internship and exemplify expected behaviors in the workplace. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Throughout the duration of the 400-hour internship program, the student intern’s primary responsibility is to focus on assigned tasks and work diligently to complete them in a timely manner.

2.    Embedded in the training plan are activities/tasks that would help develop solid work ethics and professional demeanor, as well as awareness on social responsibilities.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: 
1.    Confidentiality maintained 
2.    Complete assigned tasks effectively and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    Full-time student and not enrolled in any academic or laboratory subject in school other than internship
2.    Willing to undergo at least 400 hours of internship
3.    At least 18 years old and above, from the start of the internship period
4.    Physically and mentally fit
5.    Good moral character 

6. with an NBI clearance valid for at least 4 months

Education 

A degree or certificate course accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that requires an internship

 
Skills / Competencies 

1.    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
2.    Knowledgeable in MS Office programs
3.    Proficient in both written and spoken English
4.    Excellent customer service 
5.    Good sense of responsibility and commitment to tasks
