About the Rookie Program

The Trade Marketing Rookie will support the Trade Marketing team in executing in-store marketing initiatives, retail activations, and partnership programs that strengthen GoTyme's presence across its retail network. This Rookie Program offers hands-on experience in trade marketing operations, campaign execution, merchandising, and event coordination.

Throughout the Rookie Program, you'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to support marketing initiatives while gaining practical exposure to retail marketing and project management within the banking industry.

What You'll Do

Trade Marketing Support

• Assist in executing in-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
• Support the monitoring of retail store displays, point-of-sale materials, and promotional execution.
• Help consolidate campaign performance reports and store feedback.
• Assist in maintaining marketing materials and inventory records.

Project & Event Coordination

• Support the coordination of trade marketing projects and timelines.
• Assist in preparing presentations, trackers, and project updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to support project deliverables.
• Provide logistical support during trade events, product launches, and retail activations.

Learning & Professional Development

• Gain practical exposure to retail marketing operations and trade marketing best practices.
• Receive regular coaching and feedback throughout the Rookie Program.
• Document key learnings and contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Support additional initiatives that contribute to your learning objectives and the team's priorities.

Must Haves

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Open to completing GoTyme's 5-month Rookie Program, either as a school-required internship or a voluntary internship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in retail marketing, merchandising, and brand activations.

Nice to Haves

• Experience organizing campus events or student organization activities.
• Exposure to marketing, merchandising, or event management through coursework or extracurricular activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Leadership experience through student organizations or volunteer work.
