Accounts Payable

Job Description:

As an Accounts Payable at Bench, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial obligations by processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests - Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - Assist with month-end closing activities - Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status - Participate in audits and other financial reviews as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Previous experience in accounts payable is a plus
