Job Description:
MetroMart is seeking a Contact Center Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis to work remotely. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service over the phone and through online chat. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers with professionalism and courtesy - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner - Utilize knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information to customers - Escalate any complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution - Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database - Meet and exceed key performance indicators and customer satisfaction goals - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a customer service or contact center role - Independent and dedicated individual who can work effectively in a remote environment - Strong persuasion skills and ability to effectively manage customer interactions - Excellent people management skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Comfortable using communication tools such as phone systems and online chat platforms - High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
