Construction Consultant (Local)

Duties & Responsibilities:1. Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.2. Evaluate project feasibility and provide recommendations to optimize project outcomes.3. Conduct site assessments to determine project requirements, potential challenges, and necessary permits.4. Identify and mitigate risks related to the construction process.5. Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.6. Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.7. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.8. Communicate effectively to manage expectations and resolve any issues that arise.9. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets the required standards.10. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and compliance.11. Monitor project budgets and expenses.12. Provide cost estimates and assist in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.13. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.14. Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.15. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.16. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.17. Provide training and guidance to junior staff and construction workers.18. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction consulting, project management, or a related role within the local area.3. In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Familiarity with project management software and tools.4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.7. Willing to travel locally and internationally.
