Mechanical Engineer (Operations) (Saudi Arabia)

As the Mechanical Engineer (Operations), you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical equipment is operating reliably to meet production goals within a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different teams to plan, schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Provide support to the production team to ensure the equipment is performing within their intended design limits.
• Participate and perform safety inspections and risk assessments of the plant equipment.
• Monitor and execute condition-based maintenance of asset health management programs, analyzing trends in the equipment's performance, operating data, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and regulations throughout the maintenance process.
• Make sure to follow the safety guidelines and protocols while performing all the tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Energy sector with a strong focus on maintenance and operations.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting technical data for root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with various maintenance software.
• Must have knowledge of international codes and standards, such as API, ASME, and ISO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions while working under pressure.
