Position: Software Developer

Work Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST (20 hours/week, M-F)

Our client is a web development agency with a strong focus on good designs. That being said, we do full-stack dev work. We are 70% Shopify and 30% next js. We do eCommerce projects and Marketing websites.

We are seeking a talented software developer to join our dynamic team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features, and maintain and enhance existing products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, have strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve products
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a software developer or similar role

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Proficient in NextJS, React
• Proficient in Figma.
• Nice to have - knowledge with animations and Shopify
