EU Interpreting and Cultural Mediation Project

DATAmundi.ai is currently supporting a large-scale EU project related to interpreting and cultural mediation services and inviting qualified interpreters to express their availability and interest in joining this initiative.

Project Overview

• Service type: Interpreting / Cultural Mediation (ICM)


• Client: EU


• Contract duration: Up to 12 months

• Payment: Monthly (per 30-day service period)


• Engagement basis: Exclusive (availability required)

Geographic Coverage (LOTS)

We are currently preparing resources for the following LOTs:

• LOT 1: Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Georgia


• LOT 3: Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo


• LOT 6: Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Iceland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein


• LOT 7: Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Norway (Ukraine in peacetime)

Language Requirements

All language combinations must include English:

• English: minimum B2 level


• Language pair: minimum C1 level

We are particularly interested in interpreters working with combinations such as (non-exhaustive list):

• Arabic and French / Kurdish / Urdu / Hindi


• Pashto and Dari / Urdu / Farsi


• Amharic and Tigrinya


• Dari and Farsi


• Turkish


• Russian


• Tamil, Sinhala, Nepalese, Punjabi, Hindi – for rest of the languages please check the Google form indicated below.

Mandatory Requirements

Each interpreter must be able to provide:

1. CV in EUROPASS format (official EU template)


2. Certificate of no criminal record
   (issued by the National Criminal Register or Police authority)


3. Signed documents:
   
   
   
   • Appendix 1b – Declaration of Exclusivity
   
   
   • Appendix 4 – Statement of Compliance
