Job Description - Infrastructure/Azure Engineer

Responsibilities:

Provide hands‑on support and basic maintenance for Aruba switches (firmware updates, VLAN changes, port troubleshooting)
Collaborate with FortiGate firewall team on VPN setup, policy updates, and log reviews
Assist in deploying Azure solutions
Support configuration of Azure networking components (VNets, subnets, NSGs) and integration with on‑premises firewalls and switches
Triage and resolve support tickets relating to infrastructure, network incidents, and support requests
Help maintain security configurations (Azure Firewall, WAF rules, Key Vault access policies) and participate in routine security reviews
Contribute to backup and disaster recovery exercises using Azure Site Recovery and PaaS service snapshots
Collaborate on hybrid management tasks with Azure Arc
Aid in administration of identity services (Managed Identities, Key Vault) and storage accounts

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms
Fundamental knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs) and core security services
Familiarity with at least one network hardware platform (Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco) or willingness to learn
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or Azure CLI)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Eagerness to pursue Azure certifications (AZ‑900)
Strong analytical mindset, teamwork orientation, and effective communication skills
Exposure to Azure Monitor, Automation, or Arc preferred
Introductory experience with data/integration services (Azure SQL, Service Bus, Functions) preferred
Advanced Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑700) preferred
