AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Linear Infrastructures Senior Designer to join our team in Krakow.

We are currently recruiting for a Highway Senior Designer with experience in roadway design, to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East.

You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Global Delivery Center (Poland/Spain).

Here is what you will do: 

• Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Approves and signs off on work.
• Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
• Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
• Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
• Participates in development of technical proposals.
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Here's what we're looking for: 

• Proven track record of working on highway designs (+10 years).
• Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.) will be considered favorably.
• Skilled in geometrical design at least one of the following software packages: InRoads, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, Geopak, 12d Model
• Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
• Communicative level of English (oral and written)
• CV in English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
• US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
