Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success 🚀

Scope of responsibilities:

• Defining the architecture and vision for our design system.

• Building and document MUI-based, responsive components for use across teams.

• Maintaining visual guidelines (typography, color, spacing, grids).

• Setting up processes for system updates, quality control, and adoption.

• Partnering with the Head of UX and front-end teams to align design and engineering.

• Leading design reviews and promote best practices.

Here’s a set of skills we require:

• 5+ years building and scaling design systems at a company-wide level.

• 2+ years in product design (UI/UX).

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma: components, tokens, variants, auto-layouts, API/plugins.

• Strong knowledge of design tokens and component architecture, with understanding of how design connects to code.

• Experience creating and maintaining typography and color guidelines within design systems.

• Ability to build responsive, scalable components adaptable across devices and screen sizes.

• Experience integrating design systems with front-end frameworks (Storybook, React, MUI).

• Knowledge of WCAG and accessibility standards, with ability to embed them into components.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills for component libraries.

Nice to have experience with:

• Experience designing for multi-brand or cross-platform systems (web, mobile, internal tools)
