About the role
We’re looking for a Technical Product Support Specialist – Data/BI to join a high-priority finance transformation project for a global organisation.

You’ll provide hands-on technical and application support for a legacy reporting platform, ensuring reporting continuity for users and contributing to the smooth transition to the new Digital solution over the next four months.

This is a fixed-term contract role starting by 1 September 2025 and ending 20 December 2025, ideal for an experienced data support professional who can hit the ground running, work independently, and collaborate across time zones.

What you’ll do

• Provide daily operational support for the GPMR Legacy application, resolving service requests from Corporate Finance and Shared Services teams.


• Analyse and self-learn from existing SQL Server database artefacts to deliver accurate, timely support.


• Facilitate manual submission of data via submission and adjustment templates.


• Automate reconciliation processes and create alerts for data mismatches.


• Support the design of KPI calculations and contribute to the data validation process for the new GPMR Digital solution.


• Reconcile historical and incremental data loads to ensure data integrity.


• Deliver clear, actionable communication to stakeholders and ensure continuity of reporting services.

What you’ll need

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in MS SQL Server Database development/support.


• Proven skills with SSRS (mandatory) and Snowflake Database (mandatory).


• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and reconciliation tasks.


• Optional but valuable: SSAS, Streamlit, Power BI.


• Strong understanding of complex database structures and data artefacts.


• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.


• Confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
