Position Description - Generate marketing qualified leads (sales prospects) by completing phone calls to contacts who have responded to marketing activities. - Creating sales opportunities and closing them (only specific product categories). - Target new, untouched or inactive customers in order to increase QIAGEN market reach and generate sales prospects. - Utilize the CRM database (Salesforce) to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness of sales calls made by QIAGEN sales teams. Position Requirements Readiness to work on a limited contract of employment for period of 12 months - Minimum Bachelors’ degree in a life science discipline(Biology, Biotech, Molecular Biology). - Very good knowledge of English. - Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) would be beneficial. - Sales/Telesales experience is a strong plus. - Highly organized and able to work independently in given tasks. - Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with local and internationally-based project team members. - Goal oriented/ proactive attitude.
