The role of the Sales Executive is to perform the day-to-day sales activities for the markets of UK, Eire, Germany, Austria and Switzerland (“the territory”) on behalf of a privately held container leasing/ trading company. This includes daily communications with various container storage companies, trading businesses, shipping lines, container depots, trucking companies and other logistic partners throughout Northern Europe. This role will focus on building and develop new business opportunities for the company and maintain up-to-date customer information. The role of Sales Executive will report to the VP Sales, Europe, of Spinnaker Equipment Services, who may assign other duties to you.The role is based in Poland. A. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage and grow the customer relationships within the territory to maximize sales through regular phone, email and physical sales visits as appropriate. Monitor and analyze container sales demand patterns and pricing for all types of new and used units to ensure the successful growth of the container sales business in the territory for SES. Identify, develop and grow opportunities for sales of new and used containers in the territory and as directed by the VP Sales or CEO negotiate the sourcing of the used containers to enable satisfactory transactions. Liaison between the traders, one-way forwarders, shipping lines and container depots in the territory. Maintain Nutshell CRM data and prepare weekly sales reports for the territory. Manage all redelivery priorities for the territory, choosing the allocation by depot for the various equipment types being delivered to optimize the sales process. Manage the collections and invoicing process for all of their own sales, from issuance of sales invoices through to collection and payment for all sales closed. Monitoring of open bookings, close out sales orders and depot charge verification. Support the Spinnaker Branch Office in Poland and act in a manner commensurate with presenting the best image, ethics and behavior of a business leader and official representative of Spinnaker companies in Poland. Perform or support appropriate administrative functions to enable the smooth functions of the Branch office, where required with the approval of the CEO or other officers of Spinnaker. Support the VP Sales as requested B. Skills and Qualifications: Strong basic sales skills including well-developed interpersonal skills, communication skills, account and territory management approaches and possess an understanding of simple negotiating strategies. Fluent English and German required to minimum B2 level in each; French or other European languages a bonus. Attention to detail and an ability to multitask and process high volumes of data. Numerate and comfortable with pricing calculations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with Nutshell or other CRM software helpful. Desire to grow in responsibility and accountability as the business opportunities develop. Must be a self-motivated and enthusiastic team member, have an outgoing personality, and either be ready for or have had experience being responsible for a small office including other staff. Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel as required to the US, China or customer locations throughout Europe. C. Education and Experience Minimum requirement: college degree in a business-related discipline A minimum of 3 years’ experience in transportation and logistics in a sales or business development role Proven success in sales or client facing role with revenue responsibilities Container industry background, a bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
