Account Payable Specialist with French (m/f/d)

This role is critical in managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time, and maintaining strong relationships with French-speaking suppliers. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will play a crucial role in supporting key financial processes and identifying opportunities to improve workflows.

The Role / What You'll Do

• Processing incoming invoices in line with company policies and within deadlines.
• Ensuring invoices are properly approved, coded, and matched with purchase orders.
• Handling payment runs and monitoring due dates to avoid late payments.
• Communicating with French-speaking suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintaining vendor records and ensuring the accuracy of data in the system.
• Assisting with month-end closing activities, such as reconciliations and accruals.
• Supporting internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes and workflows.

Your Profile / What You Need to Succeed

• Proficiency in French (B2 or higher) – both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in English, the working language of the company.
• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines.
