Team/Role Overview:

You’ll be joining the Developer Collaboration Services Team.  We enable 150k Citi employees across the globe to collaborate more efficiently.  Our focus is on providing Jira and Confluence services to the firm.  We work closely with developers, engineers and non-technology employees to help them be more productive with the use of the aforementioned Atlassian tools.

What you’ll do:

In 2025, we are starting our migration to Atlassian Cloud.  This position will play a key role in the success of that migration.  Some of the day-to-day activities will include:

• Automation of utilities to support the migration

• Working with Jira and Confluence teams to ensure migrations are as seamless as possible

• Performing data analysis to track usage and measure improvement in productivity of teams that are on Atlassian Cloud   

• Shaping how we use Atlassian Cloud.  Ensuring project schemes, workflows, automations are designed to make users more productive

What we’ll need from you:

The position requires experience with Jira and the use of its API’s. A good understanding of common developer tools such as Git, Jenkins and Jira with a clear understanding of how to apply them in CI/CD. The candidate must be comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment with experience in scripting automation. Must have good communication skills as the candidate will be required to liaise with and support developers, gather requirements, document support and user guides and assist with on-boarding to engineered solutions.  Some key skills include:

• Jira / Confluence API’s 

• Jira / Confluence Cloud usage and configuration

• Java / Groovy development

• Oracle SQL, GitHub, Jenkins
