Based in Gdansk, you will join the HyperAutomation Team within IT & Digital. The team enables Arla to accelerate digital transformation by combining automation, data, and AI capabilities to solve real business challenges. Working across business and IT, HyperAutomation helps shape, prototype, and scale practical solutions using technologies ranging from Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio to full pro-code applications on Azure.

How You Will Make an Impact

As an AI Developer - GenAI, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving Generative AI prototypes and solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will evaluate technologies, develop demos and proofs-of-concept, document technical findings, and help translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions. Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Generative AI prototypes using both low-code and pro-code approaches, building demos, proofs of concept, and reusable technical components.


• Evaluate technical solution options, perform testing, and document design decisions, results, and recommendations.


• Prepare data, integrate services, and complete technical development tasks that support Generative AI innovation and pilot initiatives.


• Create technical documentation, solution comparisons, and user guidance to enable knowledge sharing and support adoption of AI solutions.


• Contribute to presentations, reporting, and communication of pilot progress, technical learnings, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

Generative AI

• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, tool/function calling, and grounding AI on enterprise data.


• Familiarity with today's AI landscape (e.g., OpenAI/Azure OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and open-source models), with the ability to evaluate models based on quality, cost, latency, and context size.


• Experience building and configuring solutions using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, including agents, knowledge sources, and actions.


• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including guardrails, prompt injection risks, safe handling of untrusted input, and building reliable, auditable AI solutions.

Software Engineering

• Practical programming or scripting experience, ideally with Python, including building, debugging, and troubleshooting technical solutions.


• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), APIs, integrations, automation, and rapid solution prototyping.


• Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate solution designs effectively.


• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Power Platform, SharePoint) is an advantage.

What You Bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical work.


• Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for learning and experimenting with emerging AI technologies.


• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and openness to feedback.


• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
