Application Security Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking an proactive Application Security Engineer to safeguard our applications by identifying vulnerabilities and partnering with development teams to mitigate risks throughout the software lifecycle. You´ll play a key role in threat modeling, secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and PCI compliance, helping ensure our software is robust, secure, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead threat modeling sessions with developers, QA, and business teams to anticipate security issues in planned solutions;

• Monitor source code and binary scan findings, collaborating with developers to remediate vulnerabilities during development;

• Assess and manage existing application vulnerabilities using CVSS scoring, recommend remediation strategies, and track resolution progress;

• Work with development, QA, and Platform Operations to collect evidence for PCI audits and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS requirements;

• Support QA teams in ensuring adequate security test coverage for functional and non-functional test cases.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development (.NET), application security, or infrastructure security (AWS/Azure);

• Strong knowledge of secure development practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management;

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills;

• Experience with Amadeus LSS and Amadeus Robotics is a plus.
