Architect / Lead ABAP Developer

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions within the SAP FS-CD environment.
  
  


• Define technical concepts and solution architectures aligned with SAP standards and industry best practices.
  
  


• Develop and enhance complex applications using ABAP and object-oriented ABAP.
  
  


• Design and implement interfaces between SAP and external systems.
  
  


• Build and maintain APIs, web services, and integrations based on RFC and BAPI technologies.
  
  


• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality requirements.
  
  


• Share knowledge and support the professional development of other developers.
  
  


• Organize and lead technical workshops involving clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
  
  


• Collaborate closely with business consultants, solution architects, and project managers.
  
  


• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and support existing SAP landscapes.
  
  


• Take ownership of technical workstreams and development subprojects.
  
  

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and object-oriented ABAP development.
  
  


• Practical experience with SAP FS-CD, FI-CA, or PSCD.
  
  


• Strong expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex SAP solutions.
  
  


• Solid knowledge of SAP integration technologies and interface development.
  
  


• Experience with APIs, web services, RFC, and BAPI.
  
  


• Ability to prepare technical specifications, concepts, and solution architectures.
  
  


• Familiarity with code reviews and software quality assurance practices.
  
  


• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
  
  


• Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  
  


• German language skills at B2 level or higher, ideally C1.
  
  


• Willingness to travel to project locations in Germany and Switzerland.
  
  

• Experience with CDS Views and OData Services.
  
  


• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP R/3.
  
  


• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5.
  
  


• Experience in SAP data migration projects.
  
  


• Basic accounting knowledge.
  
  


• Background in the insurance sector.
