Job Description - Automation QA Engineer (API)

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer (API) to support enterprise platforms in the insurance sector. The role focuses on designing and executing automated tests for REST and SOAP services, ensuring stability, compliance, and performance of critical integrations across multiple systems.

Responsibilities:

â¢ Design and execute automated API tests for REST and SOAP services

â¢ Work with Postman, SoapUI, UFT API Testing, and Gatling

â¢ Validate authorisation, headers, payloads, and response codes

â¢ Log, report, and follow up on bugs through resolution

â¢ Contribute to test strategies, QA estimations, and CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Git)

Requirements

â¢ 5+ years in test automation with strong API automation experience

â¢ Hands-on with Postman, SoapUI, UFT API Testing, or Gatling

â¢ Knowledge of REST/SOAP testing, XML/JSON validation

â¢ JIRA or equivalent test/bug management tool experience

â¢ Understanding of CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Git)

â¢ Language: Polish and English working proficiency

Nice to have

â¢ ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher)

â¢ Familiarity with Playwright or other automation frameworks

â¢ Performance testing experience
