Job Description - Billing Analyst

In this role you will:

We are looking for a Billing Analyst to assist us in tasks related to maintaining and supporting the
current billing solution, building comprehensive financial reporting, integrating with business
applications, as well as migration to a new billing system.

Develop and implement tariffs and product catalogue
Control and execute billing and invoicing operations
Developing and support various types of financial reporting
Integrate billing with information systems
Analyze large-scale billing data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance
Participate in the migration to a new billing system, handling client transfers and system switches

We’re looking for a person who has:

3+ years of commercial experience in telecom or billing systems operations/development;
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse (indexes, subqueries, partitions, hints, query plans, table/analytical functions);
Proven track record handling massive data volumes (300M+/month, 10B total);
Strong skills in data analysis, bottleneck identification, and performance optimization;
Experience with Linux environments, scripts for reporting or automation;
Initiative to independently manage projects end-to-end

Some nice-to-have skills:

Experience with PortaOne PortaBilling
Background in billing system migrations and client transfers
Expertise in building analytical queries and managing data warehouses (DWH)
