Job Description - Broker Assistant (Reinsurance)

Being a Broker Assistant (Reinsurance) is a fast track to getting to know the (re)insurance industry. You will be supporting brokers, who look after the main insurance companies in Poland in respect of purchasing and administrating their reinsurance programs. As a result, the job requires frequent contact with clients and reinsurers, so be prepared for English speaking environment. The job is a good combination of data analysis and client contact. It assumes various tasks throughout the year, so you won’t get bored!

What the day will look like

Throughout the year you will be involved in:

  • preparing reinsurance proposals and presentations (numerical and visual),
  • drafting reinsurance wordings
  • administrating existing contracts in the internal system
  • cooperate with various international teams across the organization (actuarial, catastrophe modelling, accounting)
  • supporting brokers in their everyday business activities

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University degree - fresh graduates are welcome! (experience in the financial sector is a strong advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Polish language
  • Attention to details, analytic skills, numerical thinking
  • Good communication and presentation skills, ability to work as a team
  • Be quick at learning, positive approach to work, stress resistance
  • Professional behavior
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
