Job Description - Business Development Manager Taski

At Diversey - A Solenis Company, we are the pioneer, the facilitator of our clients in a wide range of industries around the globe. We do this with our revolutionary cleaning and hygiene technologies - such as floor care machines, cleaning tools & utensils, and chemicals for Food & Beverage industry.

The Business Development Manager Taski is responsible for managing and growing the value of an assigned account or group of accounts through the delivery of technical service excellence. This role focuses on maintaining existing revenue, ensuring effective price capture, and improving gross profit while reinforcing the Solenis value proposition. While limited new business development may occur within existing accounts, the primary responsibility is customer retention, optimization, and profitability rather than new account acquisition.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts to deliver consistent technical service that creates measurable value and supports long-term customer retention.

  • Maintain and protect existing revenue streams while improving gross profit through effective price realization, application optimization, and value-based recommendations.

  • Identify and support new product, application, or system improvement opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with sales colleagues as appropriate.

  • Work closely with the extended commercial and technical teams—including Sales, Applications, Operations, and Marketing—to understand customer requirements and align on solution delivery.

  • Analyze customer processes and applications to diagnose issues, resolve complex technical challenges, and implement sustainable performance improvements.

  • Lead troubleshooting, calibration, and optimization activities to improve system reliability, safety, and operational outcomes.

  • Support special projects by evaluating technical requirements and recommending methods, processes, or system enhancements.

  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring less experienced team members, assisting with work prioritization, and supporting workflow coordination as needed.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Requires extensive knowledge within a specialized technical discipline.

  • Demonstrates a broad and comprehensive understanding of both general and specialized technical concepts and their practical application to complex customer environments.

  • Applies advanced technical principles, tools, and methodologies to solve non-routine and complex problems.

Job Complexity

  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy, often without established procedures, while performing a wide variety of complex and nonstandard tasks.

  • Uses advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to evaluate requirements, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.

  • Supports the design, development, or modification of equipment, systems, or methods to improve customer performance and reliability.

  • Evaluates, resolves, and prevents calibration and troubleshooting issues across customer applications.

  • Errors in judgment or execution may result in reduced customer performance, failure to meet schedules, and potential negative impact on business objectives and mission success.
