To collaborate to achieve economic, quality, service and sustainability purchasing targets and the project team’s objectives. To manage all assigned suppliers and lead all purchasing activities for assigned projects.
• Apply defined strategy for all suppliers’ panel and assigned product families: develop, promote, globalize, replace or eliminate suppliers. Buyer can be dedicated to Production Suppliers or Indirect Suppliers (or both).
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve business objectives.
• Lead all the assigned suppliers’ problems, following the escalation matrix.
• Manage all assigned project-purchasing activities, following FDS.
• Negotiate and implement technical savings with suppliers.
• Lead sourcing processes to ensure reaching quality, price, timing, sustainability and service objectives.
• When designated to do so, act as “Global Lead Buyer” for the global suppliers, representing Ficosa in front of the supplier as a single voice and coordinated with the buyers of the rest of the Countries.
• Present the sourcing processes in assignments committee for the assigned suppliers.
• Participate in purchasing monthly report processes for all projects and suppliers that are assigned.
• Apply all standard methodologies according to Ficosa's Purchasing System.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Participate in the assigned teams, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.

• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

Academic background: | Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics |
Languages: | Fluent local language & Fluent English (spoken & written) |
Experience: | Minimum of 2 years in a similar position |
