CDD Analyst

At LYNX, protecting the integrity of our platform starts with knowing our clients. As a Medior CDD Analyst, you play an important role in safeguarding our business by conducting customer due diligence and supporting our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) framework.

You are responsible for reviewing retail and corporate clients, assessing customer risks, verifying ownership structures, performing PEP, sanctions and adverse media screenings, and ensuring customer information remains accurate and compliant. Working closely with Compliance, Customer Support, Sales and other internal stakeholders, you help ensure that LYNX meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining an efficient and client-focused onboarding process.

This is a hands-on role that combines analytical thinking, risk assessment and stakeholder collaboration. You will manage medium-risk and moderately complex CDD cases, contribute to process improvements, support quality assurance initiatives, and help strengthen the team's AML and CDD expertise.

What you'll do

• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for new and existing retail and corporate clients in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Review identification documents, ownership structures, source of funds information, and customer profiles to assess risk.
• Conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screenings using internal and external screening tools.
• Escalate higher-risk cases, unusual patterns, or incomplete information to Senior CDD Analysts or the Team Lead.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and well-documented CDD files and customer records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to obtain or clarify client information.
• Maintain high data quality within onboarding systems and customer databases.
• Support the continuous improvement of CDD procedures, checklists, and workflows.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, AML training, and the development of technical CDD expertise within the team.

Who you are

You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable making risk-based decisions. You enjoy working with complex customer information, understand the importance of regulatory compliance, and take ownership of delivering high-quality customer reviews.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CDD, KYC, AML, Compliance, or a related field.
• Good understanding of AML/CFT legislation and customer onboarding requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience within fintech, brokerage, trading, or the broader financial services industry.
• Experience working with CDD/KYC tools and case management platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as ACAMS or ICA (or currently pursuing one).
• Additional language skills such as German, Dutch, or Czech.
