As Channel Manager Wholesale / Showroom / DIY, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth for Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard brands within the Polish wholesale/showroom channel. You will secure and expand distribution by implementing brand-building strategies for assortment, pricing, presence and marketing, operating through a team of Sales Representatives.
Your tasks:
Relationship Building: Set up and continuous improvement of customer contacts and relationships, Conduct regular customer visits to headquarters to strengthen relationships
Hit Sales & Profit Targets: Achieve all planned sales and profit goals through effective management of distributors with a special focus on key accounts
Key Account Strategy: Develop and implement a key account strategy for major customer groups, including pricing, terms, and targeted initiatives
Team Leadership: Lead and guide the Wholesale/Showroom Team responsible for the Polish market; develop effective coaching and support for all subordinates, with regular appraisals and performance reviews
Planning & Support: Prepare and support planning, market pricing, marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and sales action plans
Market Insights: Provide recommendations to other departments, especially the marketing team, based on market and customer needs. Identify opportunities, risks, and potential challenges
Reporting & Analysis: Accurately forecast sales and market trends / Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis.
Provide timely and insightful feedback to management on market conditions, competitive activities and customer feedback
Your profile:
University Degree, preferably in economics, business or marketing
minimum 5 years of experience in sales / key account management in relevant industries
master of the Polish and English languages
very comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and CRM software
category B driver’s licence and willing to travel frequently
you have a natural ability to connect with people, build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships
you emphasize a "we" over "me" mentality, focusing on collaborative success
you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, you are able to articulate clearly complex ideas, listen intently and persuade effectively
you are a skilled negotiator who can find win – win solutions
