Position: Chief Accountant – Polish Accounting Team (In-House Group of Companies)

Your Role

Are you a finance professional with a passion for precision and leadership? We’re looking for a Chief Accountant to head our Polish accounting team, supporting several in-house companies within our international group. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor and supervise the Polish accounting team, ensuring high performance accountability, and continuous professional development.


• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax and regulatory reports in compliance with Polish accounting standards.


• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes; prepare periodic financial statements and group reports.


• Track progress toward financial and accounting objectives.


• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant at least 3 years.


• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.


• Proficiency in business English (written and spoken).


• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.


• Advanced MS Excel skills.


• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.


• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BSc/BA); professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a strong advantage.
