Cloud Infrastructure Expert - Kubernetes Development

Requirements

• Minimum years of relevant experience: 5 years;
  


• Domain experience: Kubernetes, Metal3, containerd, Ceph, Rook, Software-Defined Storage;
  


• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge;
  


• Software development, ability to write code and willingness to learn new things;
  


• Proficient coding skills in Golang, Python and C/C++,;
  


• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, Python;
  


• Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Prow.
  


• ​Lifecycle management of Kubernetes, Container orchestration infrastructure platforms;
  


• Networking, HTTP(S), TCP/IP and other relevant Internet protocols - Application and solution development using Linux Containers, Docker etc.
  


• Deep understanding of distributed storage systems, consensus algorithms, databases, and Linux architecture;
  


• Experience operating hands-on as a storage admin;
  


• Consistent record working with technologies such as Ceph and Rook;
  


• Experience in working as part of the open-source community;
  


• Genuine interest to work with Kubernetes, CNCF and other Open Source Communities;
