In this role, you will have the opportunity to support business performance analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Each day, you will collaborate with Finance, Commercial Excellence, and BI teams to translate business needs into analytical requirements, develop insights from financial and market data, and contribute to impactful dashboards and reports. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying performance trends, supporting forecasting and financial modeling, and providing actionable recommendations that drive business growth and operational excellence.

This role is contributing to the Finance and Commercial Excellence function globally by supporting forecasting, business performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Main stakeholders are Finance, Commercial Excellence, Global Account Management, Business Leaders, and BI/Analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting business performance analysis and identifying improvement opportunities through data-driven insights

• Collecting, validating, and interpreting financial, commercial, and market data to support forecasting activities

• Developing and refining forecasting and financial models to improve business planning accuracy

• Collaborating with business stakeholders and BI teams to translate business needs into analytical requirements

• Contributing to the design and continuous improvement of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics

• Benchmarking key performance indicators against competitors and comparable businesses within ABB

• Monitoring market trends, business drivers, and performance risks to support strategic decision-making

• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across multiple data sources and reporting processes

• Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management while supporting audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

• You are highly skilled in forecasting, financial analysis, business performance management, and data visualization within the energy and industrial sectors

• You have 5+ years of experience in forecasting, competitive analysis, finance, or business analytics roles

• You possess advanced knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Salesforce, ATLAS, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• You are passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights and driving data-driven decision-making

• You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• You have experience collaborating with BI and analytics teams to translate business requirements into reporting and dashboard solutions

• You have a proven track record of supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes

• Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field (CMA, CA, or MBA Finance is an advantage)

• You are at ease communicating in English
