What You Can Expect:

Overall responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial development of our local entity in Poland, in close coordination with the Operations Manager
Developing and implementing local business, budget and sales plans in close coordination with the international management team
Managing financial and operational performance based on relevant KPIs and providing regular reports
Further developing efficient, standardised and customer-focused processes
Actively developing the business through new customer acquisition, key account management, pricing and cross-selling
Leading and developing the local management team and employees, and fostering future leaders
Ensuring compliance with legal, customs and internal requirements, particularly in the areas of compliance, data protection and risk management
Working closely with other ALS entities and central functions, and managing key projects and change initiatives
Representing the company in dealings with customers, authorities, associations and other relevant stakeholders

What You Bring:

A university degree, for example in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, international trade or a comparable field
Several years of leadership experience with business and P&L responsibility, ideally as a Country Manager, Managing Director or in a comparable role
Strong experience in strategy, operations, sales, finance and people management
Knowledge of customs, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade is an advantage
An entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision-making skills and confidence in working with financial KPIs
An appreciative, clear and reliable leadership style, combined with a strong customer and sales focus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Polish and English
Enthusiasm for international collaboration and actively shaping change
Flexibility to travel regularly and adapt working hours when business needs require it
