Cybersecurity Architect

At Quento Technologies S.A., we empower our people to innovate and lead in delivering transformative ICT solutions to our clients worldwide. Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Architect.

Responsibilities:

• Design and propose secure architectures aligned with business and security objectives;
• Develop cybersecurity architectures addressing security, privacy, and compliance requirements;
• Produce and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and technical specifications;
• Present and communicate security architecture strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Ensure security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle;
• Lead the integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions and controls;
• Conduct architecture assessments, security reviews, and cybersecurity risk evaluations;
• Evaluate security products, technologies, and vendors through market assessments and Proof of Concepts (PoCs);
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security architectural blueprints and standards;
• Ensure seamless integration of new solutions within existing enterprise architecture frameworks;
• Support the transition of implemented solutions to operational teams;
• Align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives, risk appetite, and digital transformation strategies;
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative security solutions;
• Monitor emerging technologies, cyber threats, and industry trends to continuously enhance security capabilities;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity Architecture or a similar senior cybersecurity role;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Very good command of the English language (minimum C1 level);

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of:

• Cybersecurity architecture principles and best practices;
• Security frameworks, methodologies, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, TOGAF);
• Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
• Security architecture reference models and enterprise security frameworks;
• Cybersecurity controls, technologies, and solutions;
• Cybersecurity risk management and threat analysis;
• Privacy and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs);
• Security governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements;
• Business requirements analysis and architecture design;
• Cloud, network, application, infrastructure, and identity security;

Desired Certifications:

Candidates should hold at least four of the following certifications (or internationally recognized equivalents):

• CISSP
• CISM
• CISA
• TOGAF Foundation / TOGAF Certified
• SABSA Chartered Security Architect (SCF)
• CISSP-ISSAP
• CGEIT
• CRISC
• CNDA
• SCPA
• SCMA
• GSNA
• GCCC
• GPPA
