About position

Are you an expert in designing and implementing robust data warehousing solutions? We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing our data warehouse infrastructure to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. If you have a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing best practices, along with strong problem-solving abilities, we want to hear from you! Requirements

· Practical knowledge of IT technologies and tools in the field of DWH solutions

· Very good knowledge of DWH architectural issues (denormalization, metadata, data modeling, etc.)

· Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL programming (built-in procedures, functions, triggers, etc.)

· At least 5 years of practical experience in designing and optimizing ETL processes

· At least 5 years of practical experience (supported by completed projects) in the design and implementation of DWH / BI elements based on Microsoft tools, i.e. SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Power BI

· Practical ability to model DWH/BI architecture components in UML z notation using sparx enterprise architect software

· At least 5 years of practical experience in data modeling, designing canonical models and designing the database layer within DWH

· Good knowledge (supported by experience in completed projects) of the Oracle DB 12 c architecture and issues related to the optimization of data storage and processing in the Oracle 12 c DB layer (RAC)

· Practical knowledge of OLAP, Data Ouality, Data governance

· Practical knowledge of issues related to the optimization of data processing processes within the Data Warehouse architecture

Your responsibilities

· Designing and documenting architecture in the DWH area

· Designing and conducting architectural supervision over the implementation of individual DWH layers (stage, ods, meta, dwh, data mart, etc.)

· Creating procedures within DevOps for the development and maintenance of the DWH environment (including the metadata layer, canonical models, Data Quality, Data governance)

· Creating and implementing security, quality and data retention policies

· Creating procedures within DevOps for the development and maintenance of the process of providing data from source systems

· Architectural supervision over the entire DWH environment

· Monitoring changes in source systems in terms of changes to the data model and processes feeding the data warehouse

· Substantive supervision over the work of teams of ETL Programmers

· Cooperation as a mentor with the project team at each stage of DWH design and implementation
