Demand Planner

For our client we are currently looking for a skilled Demand Planner to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You will join a company that is expanding their European presence.

Reporting to the European Operation Director, you will be responsible for enhancing supply chain efficiency by reducing costs, improving delivery timelines, and fostering strong supplier relationships to guarantee the quality of delivered products and services. This role also involves implementing innovative solutions to optimize procurement processes, managing inventory to meet operational demands, and monitoring supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

This warehouse will be the company's central hub which will distribute their products throughout Europe.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Plan and oversee the procurement of goods and services essential to the company's operations. 
• Evaluate and negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency. 
• Supervise the quality and volume of purchased products and services. 
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships while fostering new partnerships. 
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms and conditions with suppliers. 
• Review purchasing documentation and process supplier invoices accurately. 
• Track inventory levels and plan supply activities based on organizational needs. 
• Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and streamline supply chain operations. 
• Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities and evaluate performance metrics.

To be a good fit for the Demand Planner role you will have:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics. 
• Proven expertise in negotiation and communication. 
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and relevant legislation. 
• Proficient in planning, organization, and time management. 
• Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach. 
• Skilled in data analysis and interpretation. 
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. 
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams and effectively motivate colleagues
• Advanced spoken and written English language skills
