We are looking for an inspiring and strategic Head of IT & Digital Platforms to lead one of the most critical functions in our global IT & Digital organisation. The IT & Digital Platforms organization exists to unburden and unleash IT product teams through reusable capabilities, modern platforms, standards, and developer enablement - delivered with a platform-as-a-service mindset that makes shared capabilities easy to access, adopt, scale, and continuously improve. How you will make an impact 

As a member of the IT & Digital Leadership Team, reporting into the Head of IT & Digital (CIO) at Arla, you be responsible for the platforms, technologies, and engineering capabilities that underpin Arla's digital ecosystem. You will lead a global organisation (approx. 50 internal people) that enables our IT product teams to build, run, and scale solutions securely, efficiently, and at pace. Furthermore you will be the IT Leadership team representative in our Gdansk hub, and will be responsible together with our senior leaders in IT&Digital in Gdansk for ensuring our people there are engaged.

Your key responsibilities will be to define the Platform Strategy. Anchored in Arla’s digital strategy you will establish and execute the strategic roadmap for Arla's shared technology platforms, ensuring they support our digital transformation ambitions and future growth within the following areas:

• Data Foundation, Analytics and AI Platforms


• Developer and Enterprise Enablement


• Identity, Access and Security Enablement


• Test Automation and Quality Engineering

Further you will:

• Lead Enterprise Technology Transformation. You will drive strategic initiatives that strengthen Arla's digital capabilities while maintaining the right balance between innovation, resilience, security, and operational excellence. Success in the role requires strong collaboration across business and technology domains, including Product Teams, Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and strategic partners to foster a Platform-as-a-service thinking.


• Enable High-Performing Product Teams. You will ensure that product teams across Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, and Corporate Functions have access to scalable, reusable, and modern technology capabilities.


• Build and Inspire Exceptional Teams. You will lead a highly capable international organisation by developing senior managers and technology leaders, creating an engaging environment where people thrive and perform, and building the future capabilities required to realise Arla's digital ambitions. You will and further develop a culture characterised by accountability, collaboration, empowerment, innovation, continuous improvement, talent development, leadership growth and engineering excellence.
