Currently, we are looking for a person for our NDO team for the position: 
Director Maintenance & Construction (m/f/x)
We are seeking an experienced and forward thinking leader for the role of Director Maintenance & Construction, responsible for all retail site–related Repair & Maintenance (R&M), Technical Operations, Construction, and Engineering activities in Poland.
As a member of the NDO Europe Management Team, this role works closely with internal business functions and external engineering and service partners. In addition to country level responsibility, the role serves as a functional R&M lead across NDO Europe, contributing to common standards, cost transparency, and continuous improvement initiatives related to break fix, preventive maintenance, and warranty management. You will also collaborate closely with the Facility Service Center (FSC) in Warsaw, a key enabler for standardization, digitalization, and long term efficiency across Business Units.
The role is based in Warsaw, working closely with the Polish organization, and reports to the Head of NDO Europe.
Success in this role requires strong knowledge of legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements relevant to the fuel industry, a strategic and results oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively across functions, countries, and cultures. 
You build trust through collaboration, thrive in complex operational environments, and demonstrate the ability to balance hands on execution with strategic direction.
You combine a solid operational understanding with a clear focus on long term value creation through standardization, transparency, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
•    Lead and develop Maintenance & Construction activities in Poland.
•    Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes and procedures within Construction, Engineering, and Technical Operations.
•    Design and manage tailored R&M support models for: Company operated sites (COCO), Dealer operated sites (CODO), Franchisee owned sites (DODO).
•    Ensure full Legal, Health & Safety, and environmental compliance across the area of responsibility in the cooperation with Store Operations, Shop & Fuel teams, and external partners.
•    Provide functional support and expertise on Repair & Maintenance processes across NDO Europe.
•    Actively collaborate with the FSC team in Warsaw to drive standardization, workload optimization, and scalability across Business Units.
•    Define, track, and continuously improve KPIs, tools, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, safety, cost control, and quality.
•    Lead and develop a direct team of four Real Estate Engineers.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
•    Proven experience managing technical, construction, or engineering operations in fuel retail or a comparable industrial environment.
•    Strong understanding of Polish and European engineering, environmental, and regulatory frameworks.
•    Demonstrated people leadership and strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
•    Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast paced, matrix organization.
•    Willingness to travel across Poland & internationally.
•    Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
