Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field (German Philology, Applied Linguistics, Teacher Training College)

• Proven fluency in GERMAN (spoken and written), level C1 or more according to CEFR

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team

• Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines

• Creativity and openness to new ideas

• Curiosity about the world and a genuine interest in educational development

• Flexibility and readiness to work under time pressure and adapt to change

• Experience in teaching German at school is a strong asset

• Experience in editing texts and developing educational publications is highly desirable

Key tasks

• Developing concepts for educational publication series and overseeing their execution

• Working as a part of publishing projects in collaboration with authors, graphic designers, recording studios, design teams, external editors, and Ministry of Education experts

• Providing substantive and didactic editing of educational materials

• Participating in market research, classroom observations, and cooperating with teachers

• Ensuring proper documentation of projects, including contracts and copyright compliance

• Co-creating and supporting marketing campaigns for educational products

• Monitoring competitors and analyzing market trends

• Tracking developments in language education in Poland and internationally

• Contributing to budget planning, scheduling, and achieving business goals

• Researching and monitoring new trends in foreign languages eduaction (mostly German) and development of new techologies and AI
