We are looking for a Field Service Engineer* based in Southern or Central Poland, preferably in the area of Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, or Warsaw.

As part of our Service Team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our advanced sorting systems, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and the opportunity to travel while contributing to a more sustainable future through innovative recycling solutions.

Main tasks are

• Perform field service activities including commissioning, installation, testing, integration, optimization, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems, primarily in Poland, while providing support across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia as required.
• Prepare comprehensive service reports following installations, maintenance activities, and technical interventions to ensure effective knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of service activities, expenses, spare parts usage, and other operational data.
• Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance and service teams, as well as support the development of fellow TOMRA Service Engineers.
• Provide technical support via phone and respond promptly to customer and equipment-related issues in the field.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Project Management teams by providing technical expertise and field-based insights.
• Maximize the performance, reliability, and availability of TOMRA sorting systems to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Execute field service activities efficiently, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by acting as a trusted technical advisor and ambassador for TOMRA

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Alternatively, a technical qualification with relevant field service experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar field service, maintenance, technical support, or industrial service role.
• High willingness to travel, with approximately 80-90% of working time spent on customer sites across Poland and the broader Central & Eastern European region.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on approach, willingness to travel, and a passion for technology and engineering.
• Fluent in Polish and good English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
