How you will make an impact
- Support VAT compliance and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of tax-related data
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat and duties returns for selected countries
- Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and support their implementation in tax processes
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to ensure correct tax treatment of transactions
- Participate in tax and accounting related projects, including process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives
- Support internal and external audits by providing tax documentation, analyses, and explanations
What will make you successful
We are looking for a finance professional with a background in Accounting, Finance, or Tax, who has already gained initial experience in Indirect Tax and understands how tax, accounting, and business processes connect end to end. You feel comfortable working with tax regulations in an international environment, communicate confidently in English, and take ownership of your responsibilities, even when working under time pressure.
Key qualifications
1+ years of professional experience in Indirect Tax (Direct Tax is an advantage)
- Good knowledge of accounting concepts, tax regulations, laws, and standards
- Experience working with SAP (Finance) and strong Excel skills (VBA is an advantage); knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Query, Power BI) is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and within the team
- Ability to work in a challenging and changing environment, with a proactive and accountable mindset
