Financial Accountant

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team in Warsaw.

What you will do :

• Maintaining the books and records whilst producing monthly financial reporting and accounts for both internal and external stakeholders.


• Responsible for regulatory reporting for licensed entities and dealing with ad-hoc regulatory queries.


• Assist with Working capital management and balance sheet discipline and maintenance.


• Support in analysing business performance against the KPIs and targets, and help prepare KPI reports as required by the business.


• Financial statement preparation. Liaise with external and internal auditors to provide support to the audit process as required by the business.


• Championing process improvement through critically reviewing existing processes, making recommendations for improvement and implementing operationally.


• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks.

We are looking for someone who :

• Has strong academics, including degree level education and likely professional services audit background


• Has a relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualification.


• Has experience of working in a multi-cultural and multi-location environment with an ability to work independently and prioritise workload as part of a geographically dispersed team.


• Is enthusiastic and able to take initiative and provide direction to others.


• Is organised self-starter, with drive and ambition to quickly make an impact within an growing organisation.


• Has relevant sector experience, this would serve as an advantage, such as Gaming background, digital, retail or e-Commerce.


• Is fluent in English with strong writing capabilities.


• Is excellent communicator and has good team and leadership skills, with ability to build close relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.


• Provides support to colleagues at all levels including training where necessary.
