Introduction

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented German Speaking Customer Specialist for an Accommodation Platform to join an international support team representing a leading global accommodation service. In this role, you will act as a key contact point for German-speaking customers, supporting them throughout their booking journey and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience at every stage.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer care, enjoy problem-solving, and are motivated to grow within a structured, multinational work environment that values professionalism, collaboration, and continuous development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer support to German-speaking users via phone and email

  • Assist customers with accommodation bookings, modifications, cancellations, and general inquiries

  • Handle post-booking support, complaints, and service-related issues in a professional and empathetic manner

  • Identify customer needs quickly and deliver clear, accurate, and effective solutions

  • Document all customer interactions precisely in internal systems and CRM tools

  • Follow internal guidelines, quality standards, and data protection procedures

  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases appropriately to ensure timely resolution

  • Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to maintain high service levels

  • Actively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and customer-first culture

Qualifications

  • Fluency in German (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken

  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level) for internal communication

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or call center environments is an advantage

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment

  • Comfortable using multiple systems and digital tools simultaneously

  • Flexible availability, including the willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends
