German-Speaking Customer Care – Bike Expert (Remote – Europe)

Introduction

A fast-growing European mobility company dedicated to making e-bikes accessible to everyone is seeking a German-speaking Freelance Customer Support Specialist. This role is a B2B freelance cooperation, allowing you to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. You will support customers in the DACH region through their purchase journey and ensure a premium after-sales experience for a brand focused on sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Inquiry Management: Handle customer questions via email, chat, and occasional phone calls.
  • Product Consultation: Assist customers in selecting the ideal e-bike based on their specific needs, budget, and preferences.
  • Detailed Support: Provide comprehensive product information and personalized recommendations.
  • Order Tracking: Offer updates on delivery status and manage after-sales issues such as warranties or missing parts.
  • Coordination: Escalate complex resolutions to internal teams when necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest workflow enhancements and contribute to customer success resources.
  • Service Quality: Maintain high communication standards and efficiency across all customer touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Freelance Status: Must be able to invoice as a registered freelancer or through your own company (B2B contract).
  • Language Skills: Native or near-native proficiency in German (excellent written and spoken) and English (B2 level).
  • Experience: Proven track record in customer support or client-facing roles.
  • Soft Skills: Independent, well-organized, and a strong problem-solver.
  • Remote Work: Comfortable managing your own time and working effectively in a remote setup.
  • Mindset: Enthusiastic, positive, and customer-centric with a strong tech affinity.
  • Interest: A genuine interest in e-mobility and sustainability is a plus.
