GL Junior Accountant 1

Location: Warsaw office

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility: 

A2R accountant reports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements 

• Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards. 

• Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes 

• Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations 

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives 

• Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management 

• Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar 

• At least 2+ years of experience within SSC environment in a related process area and/or accounting (preferably in General Ledger or R2R area) 

• Knowledge of ERP systems 

• Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage) 

• Strong willingness to learn and develop
